i having problems file above when try resize down 360 x 359 pixels in height (it @ 524 x 523). image quality seems suffer when print @ 360 x 359; when go print preview , manipulate scale print size of original 360 x 359 (or smaller size, matter) prints off perfectly! it's clear. now, wouldn't issue if needed print image off, need take resized (360 x 359) image , put other programs (and print off). it seems rather odd image quality suffers when try reduce size of image through "image size" function, image quality not suffer when change through "scale print size" function in "print preview." any suggestions rectify issue appreciated! when you're changing in image size you're throwing away pixels , printing. scaling in print dialog, you're still working of pixel information. why resize image @ all? keep of pixel information can, , resize in page layout software or whatever you're using, keep of pixel info of image intact. alre

i downloaded successfully, installed cs4, registered , activated. problem takes long time cs4 open. time double click icon, seems takes forever before blue box pops up, takes longer cs3 open program. far can tell, have same settings both programs cs3 beats hands down speed open. running 3 gb of memory, intel quad 4 processor, , lots of disk space. can't figure our why takes forever open. i'm running vista ultimate 64 on system q6600@2.4ghz cpu, 8gb ram, barracuda 500gb 7200rpm drive, nvidia 9800gtx+ display card. takes ps cs4 4 seconds double click ready go. same system, ps cs3 takes 3.5 seconds, bit faster. it seem photoshop cs3 has learned new trick since updated leopard secupd2008-002 "security update". , if didn't see happening own eyes, wouldn't have believed it. yesterday, noticed 2 layers in 200+ layered technical drawing had shifted 1 , 2 pixels left, respectively. thought might have been me missing or something...but caught , shifted them back. noticed again (different layer) hour later. again, thought fault. this morning, did drag/copy of selection few times on over single layer, finished copies , let go of mouse surveye result. that's when saw whole layer worked on shift 1 pixel left, on own. please, no troubleshooting tips please or "i don't have problem" responses. i'm mentioning in case else has observed phenomena , thought first thought....user error. it's not. in interest of ruling out possible mouse related issue, i'm going swap mice 1 of machines , see if happens again. spooky. j More discussions in Photoshop Macint

i've made animation works in cs3. animates fine in animation window, when save gif web & devices, doesn't animate. when open in photoshop gif saved, there 1 frame , 1 layer. shows 5 frames in preview. the web & devices window shows there more 1 frame. when saved, 1. when email myself, no animation. 1 layer gif. i don't know doing wrong won't show animation when saved. any suggestions? how viewing see if animates? did drag on browser? hello, i have new dell precision m6300 mobile workstation nvidia quadro fx 1600m video card. have latest video driver dell. second monitor (dell 20 inch) attached via either vga or dvi, photoshop cs4 becomes unusable in both second monitor , notebook display. if remove second monitor in display properties, photoshop works splendidly on notebook display. here typical case. open image, zoom in or select brush , image abruptly turns several large "blocks." blocks can filled areas of cyan, white, transparency, blocks of image, bits of open image, , blocks of images closed. the latest quadro driver dell may 2008. checked nvidia send notebook manufacturer drivers mobile cards. i have master collections cs4 installed , have not run problems in dual-monitor mode of other apps. seems isoloated photoshop. if have had same problem, able solve it? they released driver fixes issue cards. don't think 1 explicitly listed might want try it.
