CS2: loading alpha from 2nd document

sorry go 2 versions, script pscs2 , haven't needed of features available in newer versions ...

a common task me have 2 indexed images open , use 1 defining selection other. , except run problems larger files. seems if image bitmaps exceed specific size (~12mp), ability load selection "other" document disappears, while other ps functionality remains.

is aware of remedy or workaround? (eg, ram related?) know exact threshold or why happens? fixed in subsequent versions of ps?

cs2 on intel powered windows xp (sp3), 2gb ram
