stop function in FreqCounter.h library

hey there,
in new project use freqcounter library. have problem there no function stopt measuring frequency. know how that? or there possibility add code in den library itself?

basic usage

freqcount.begin(gateinterval);
begin frequency counting. gateinterval time in milliseconds each measurement. using 1000 provides direct frequency output without mulitplying or dividing scale factor.
freqcount.available();
returns true when new measurement available. single measurement buffered, must read before next gating interval.
freqcount.read();
returns recent measurement, unsigned long containing number of rising edges seen within gating interval. there no delay between gating intervals, example 1000.5 hz input (and accurate crystal osciallator) alternate between 1000 , 1001 when used 1 second gate interval.
freqcount.end();
stop frequency counting. pwm (analogwrite) functionality may used again.
