Photoshop CS4- valid key showing invalid?

i'm hoping can help...

we have 5 user license photoshop cs4 extended, , first machine i've tested on has returned red cross indicating invalid license key when entered. however, same key has subsequently been accepted 2 other windows installs on similar machines.
this full install license has installed cs4 alongside cs3 on 1 of clients.

i have tried uninstalling adobe photoshop related products including bridge, etc problematic machine (and ensured hklm\sofwate\microsoft\windows\currenversion\uninstall\ key cleared of such products) restarted , attempted install again it's still not accepted.

i'm suspecting 1 workstation has left on in registry or perhaps file/folder confusing key check. suggest anything?

i have left install on 30 day trial can @ least used (and tried entering key after installed no luck).

missing filename after '-o'
