i've had lot of sound problems machine, inspiron 1420, , recent. recent upgrade 9.10, sound works after fresh boot. if put suspend, sound stops working. may possible somewhere getting muted, not of obvious places. edit1: ok, feel dumb. went alsamixer in terminal, , muted there. way stop doing don't have fix every time? edit2: ok, never mind. did work 1 time. i've suspended again, , alsa resumed @ 100% volume, no sound. confused. see thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=8582039 perhaps have same issue. i got new toy (plugcomputer) can boot sd cards. wife's laptop has got sd card reader built in borrowed , booted ubuntu livecd reassuring nothing possibly go wrong. anyway, cut long story short used fdisk , ran 'mkfs.ext3 /dev/sd a 2' instead of 'mkfs.ext3 /dev/sd b 2' , accidentally wiped ntfs windows partition (boot/documents etc.). has no backup , i'm not getting christmas presents if don't sorted. i've had read on forums wanted ask personal situation. using livecd, didn't install on formatted partition because realised straight after , on reboot machine says operating system not found in theory other damage caused formatting process should still there. best thing me in situation? possible restore partition ntfs , continue if nothing has happened? fdisk when format ext3? advice gratefully received. you need run recovery software using surface scan. can recover import

olá galera,     isso não é um tutorial, até porque o tema não pede um,   são dicas relativo aos percalços, dificuldades e aprendizado que tive com os shields tft lcd com telas touch.      eles são baratos(se comparados outros tipo de telas semelhantes),  tem uma excelente resolução,  porem, precisam de alguma dicas pra funcionar contento,  então lá vão dicas: 1- esses tft lcds sendo shields, foram os unicos tipos que encontrei que rodaram tão bem no arduino uno como no arduino mega. 2- eles podem ser encontrados em vários tamanhos, mas todos com mesma pinagem,  e mesma forma de encaixe(shield) os tamanhos que encontrei foram 1.8,  2.4,  2.8,  3.5,  3.6 e 3.95. 3- parte mais chata deles é encontrar biblioteca correta pra funcionarem,  pois não depende uma unica biblioteca, depender da função ele utilizará de 2 3 ou até mais bibliotecas diferentes. 4- o melhor link para bibliotecas é esse aqui, lá tambem rola uma explicações mais(em ingles) :   https://forum.arduino.cc/index.ph

hallo community, nachdem die trockenversuche vorher recht gut funktioniert haben, kann ich gerade nicht ganz nachvollziehen, mein arduino macht. folgende ausgangssituation: am arduino sind die eingänge a0 und a1 mit einem signal zwischen 0 und 5v beschaltet. an den ausgängen d5 und d11 hängt je ein mosfet. d5 gibt ein pwm signal aus, d11 high/low. das signal eingang a0 entsteht durch einen optokoppler, welcher das hdd signal vom computer bekommt und dann eine 5v leitung schalten soll. (scheint soweit auch zu funktionieren, auch wenn der koppler bei 20ma nicht komplett durchschaltet - ich nehme an, dass das board 20ma liefert) das signal eingang a1 kommt von einem rain-sensor - ein spanngungswert von 0 bis 5v in abhängigkeit des gemessenen widerstands der detektorplatte. (funktioniert für sich alleine auch problemlos). nun schaue ich mir im serial monitor die eingänge und stelle fest, dass sobald die 5v vom rain sensor a1 anliegen, alle anderen eingangänge ebenfalls zwischen 9

i installed demo. have dual monitor setup running windows vista ultimate x64 8gb ram ... it appears have both 32bit , 64bit versions of ps cs4 installed. if open either of these apps, choose jpg on desktop, right-click in windows, choose, 'open with' , select 'adobe photoshop cs4', ps hangs - period. after while, clicking title bar of app (which kind of menu bar in version) causes return old windows title bar shows image name , zoom etc, usual (not responding) @ end of title bar text! it no matter version (32 or 64bit) presently loaded. if have cs4 loaded , select 'edit photoshop' in lightroom 2.1 (my main app configured output files in 16bit psd format). another weird quirk found in cs4 - if select 'help', 'system info' displays info on second monitor, not first! figure screen res shown second monitor (monitor 3 in vista) running 1280x1024. not sure if has effect on monitor profile used ps - hope not 1st monitor calibrated one! thanks, paul

hello all. proud owner of 3 raspberries, got pi3 , burned .img of new raspbian official page sd card. find curious booting in both pi2 , pi3 until splash, going blank screen no reaction. tried many things, card working well, found out press shift + f1 , text console appears. investigating further learned x server wasnt working, not launching sudo due weird permission user errors. did fix was: remove lightdm, lxde , x server, , reinstall them again. worked , pi has graphical interface , all, looks customizations of raspbian gone. pressume need reinstall graphic end of os not should have happened? hi. suggest download new copy of image file, sounds me copy have corrupt,or got corrupted while writing sd card, try again. did use write image sd card ? if etcher did report problems sd card. raspberrypi

i have user defined code want execute on videocore iv gpu. can execute code either via mailbox-call or via register-poking, writing directly v3d registers (see functions gpu_fft_base_exec_direct , gpu_fft_base_exec of https://github.com/raspberrypi/userland ... fft_base.c ). additionally, i'm executing code several successive times on qpus. now, executing code via directly poking registers (in loop: writing v3d registers, waiting interrupts) works perfectly. executing same code via mailbox interface shows strange behavior: if there delay (e.g. 10 ms) between mailbox-calls, execution finishes successfully. if there no delay between mailbox-calls, after few loop-iterations, system freezes, no response, not in terminals. if set delay between syscalls lower value (e.g. 100 us), execution finished, (about 1/8th) slower! theory first 2 points is, somehow swamp linux kernel syscalls, has no more time else!? can't explain why lower delay results in slower execution. has here

im still new mac having been windows pc user years. i've seen far. reasonably competent photoshop cs3 , have loaded mac version. i have 24" imac latest leopard. main printer epson r2400 use canon pixma ip8500 , both worked fine pc. i had number of cs3 files set in folder on windows pc , copied these on mac. involve image of 7.5" x 5.5" centred (on a4 canvas) , framed thin 1px border of 10" x 8". these particular task perform , need that. have lot of straightforward images in folders resize them 12" x 10" , print out. all seem print out larger i'm telling them do. example, images 1px border of 10" x 8" print out 0.25" bigger. isn't huge problem other images 1px bordered ones need size specify (apart frustrating me won't ask!). i'm doing reduce scale 98% , comes out near enough want. anyone have tips? thanks, bob bob, all things being equal, prints should identical, whether run out of win or mac machine. con

hello, i downloaded , installed google maps component , , it. however, requires logged in via joomla before regular web site user can add location. application, want people able add location on map, not ask them log in. hello there! me , team having problems our nodemcus. we're making project cones, each cone has nodemcu in it. one cone "main" cone 2 nodemcus in it. 1 ap (access point) , other 1 server. ap fine, can connect it, , server fine, connects ap , enstablishes http server. but we're having problems other cones want act clients. takes them long time connect ap , when connect, fail connect server send http request. (read rarely), connection http server enstablished , when url being requested, times out , connection breaks , won't connect server. any ideas? there wrong out topology? need see code this. i found having function called every time in loop checks if connected wifi , if not attempts reconnect helps. if plan on turning devices on @ same time having connection code in setup isn't great idea! hi, have 64bit ubuntu 9.10 installed on laptop has nvidia geforce 110m graphics card. updated driver 190.42 couple days ago. in office, laptop monitor 1366 x 768. have lcd monitor (1280 x1024). when connect lcd monitor via vga cable , select twin view, works expect there region @ bottom of laptop screen. other thing is, when play movie fullscreen on on monitor, moment click on other monitor, comes out of full screen. don't have same problem when play same way on windows. can suggest me fix issue. have attached xorg.conf file reference # nvidia-settings: x configuration file generated nvidia-settings # nvidia-settings: version 1.0 (buildd@americium) sat nov 21 01:31:44 utc 2009
