hey, i bought loose ws2811s ics (about year ago, can't find ali express lot) i'm having issues connecting them mosfets. i tested ics (with individual leds) , working fine. since ledstrip works on 12v (9leds per strip/ic) , ics operate on 5v, thinking of using irfz44n mosfets(i got couple 100 lying around here) bridge 5v part , 12v part. but since common out of ws ics 5v. don't know how wire it. could tell me if possible components got , aid me in how wire it?. the ic controlled arduino mega 2560 (slightly overkill testing). eventually meaning can control different ics on artnet(network based dmx protocol used in lighting equipment). thanks in advance! couple pictures below showing key components. hi all, yes, new. i have built several rotary phase converters (rpc) using industrial equipment on single phase power.  aware of dangers of working line voltages. i have thought of way use arduino control fine tune rpc.  if not familiar rotary phase converters, capacitors used between 2 single phase lines , phantom line motor running , fine tune voltages.  able pull in , out capacitors single phase legs phantom leg.  obviously, under heavy loads , high inrush currents, voltages drop , arduino pull in capacitance when needed , drop when stable. i use transformer 240v primary 12v secondary, rectify, add cap, , use voltage divider below 5v can use arduino's built in analog digital converter.  3 phases.  l1-l2(a0), l2-l3(a1), l3-l1(a2).  l1-l2 coming straight utility , 240vac + or - 5%.  arduino monitor these inputs , make adjustments phantom phase load changes, etc...  have no problem creating voltmeter, however, struggling figure out best way structure this. i thinking have

i running cs3 various third-party plug-ins fine on g5 using tiger. purchased macpro came leopard installed, , can't of plug-ins register on pull-down menu. 1 plug-in digi-element's aurora 2--i went site , downloaded (and installed) latest version (2.1) supposed run on leopard. have filters alien skin , nik multimedia, too. plug-ins show defaults. going through forum, seems though i'm 1 problem. i've booted , re-booted , still nothing. little help...? thanks plugins made ppc not work on intel mac. check manufacturer see if have universal binary versions. upgrading may cost. if start photoshop in rosetta plugins work take speed hit. mac os 10.4.11, powermac g5, 1.5 gig ram. after working few minutes in photoshop cs4, dreaded non disappearing window appear saying "could not complete rquest because of program error". had force quit each time. adobe support quite helpful. after trying numerous fixes (trashing preferences, repairing permissions, addressing colorsync issues, deleting version cue, etc, etc., found problem stopped when turned off fonts in fontbook. left experiment different fonts find conflict is. unfortunately, have >600 fonts. have suggestions suspects? also, has else run similar situation? i'm wondering if common problem , adobe come out repair update. thanks in advance input. fontagent pro best font manager out there. find corrupt fonts. fontbook pretty sucky font managers go. next have 1.5gb ram 10.4 takes chunk of photoshop needs ram can get. , have 600 fonts active @ same time. each font application uses ram. little ram no wonder not work. hello, i use arduino uno project. have use timer able measure 0.1us. so, delaymicrosecond function not enough. never use arduino want use cause seems easy (and because don't want bothering me hardware part). i think can use timer 1 able increase 1 one every 62.7ns ( 16mhz). if tell t1=0 (i don't knoow exact name of register) increment self each 62.7ns without need something? can play directly microcontroller register arduino ide? and also, i'm scared other instructions of program make increment lower ( latency time when i'm calling function or execute instruction), problem timer 1 or really accurate want be. thanks answer hope make myself clear. yours faithfully. each clock tick takes 62.5 nanoseconds. if doing ticking clock, you'll fine. but, of course, not doing. loop() running, means using clock ticks. it pointless @ time takes execute 1 instruction , think means able often. i wonder why there's no thumbnail preview in cs4? i'm using vista , when switch view thumbnails, psd file seems showing [ps] icons. these gives problem when want search older psd files did last month or beyond. must open files 1 one looking file. wastin time... when saving file; there's 'thumbnail' check box, means? is there solution have thumbnails preview psd files? item pictures appear automatically without procedure when saving psd. use bridge. i´ve been trying install ps cs4 vista x64 os. had master collection trial installed , thought giving me problems uninstalled - deactivated, uninstall, reboot. downloaded cs4 trial. seemed go fine when open app.... i have dell 690 workstation nvidia quadro fx 1300. problem photoshop cs4 running super slow. impossible work done. when under preferences - performance , under gpu settings, detected video card empty , "enable opengl" , "advanced settings" both disabled. have latest fx driver nvidia installed. my workstation dual - dual core 2.33ghz 3gb ram. tried reg keys posted adobe engineer no luck please advise. in advance. i need go cs3 until issue resolved. frustrating... anyone? i have been here many times requesting rewrite of how spot channels work in photoshop. long time thinking along lines of spot channel layers etc etc. simpler answer dawned on me other day, entail lot less programming. why not allow control on spot channels in document via channel mixer adjustment layer? mean is, when added channel mixer adjustment layer layer, having control on normal cmyk channels, have sliders spot colours contained in document. way have many different layers masks or vector masks, total control on inks make layer. after working week on complex packaging job involving multiple spot inks, , cursing photoshop's name, solution came me in eureka moment. excited thinking it! and knock out area in other layers/channels?
