first background info: i have ctr-z mapped step backward. using 2 different shortcuts "undo" (one step back) , "step backward" (multiple steps back) makes no sense me. such, use regular undo, , not have mapped. the case: when switch new layer, brush stroke , undo it, photoshop treats undo switch layer came from. happens lot, , not me, lot of designers know (i'm gui designer @ game company). of them have formed habit of "erasing" bit in empty part of layer, in case the'd later want undo. that's bad. my proposed solution: -first undo stroke, leave selected layer alone. -on next press of "step backward" change current layer 1 came from. thanks reading far! :) if post sounds harsh, please keep in mind it's ones love most, hurt ;) kind regards, herman. i more "feature request" has place @ top of forum list. hello, i'm new forums , looking advice. i'm working on little project , have several things powered 5v , 2-3a power supplies. pi itself, screen, speaker, , led assembly. want have these contained in box 1 plug in. looking advice on best way that. looking @ usb charging hubs option, wasn't sure if there better solution. in advance advice! hi: isn't advice, cuz there many variables. anyway, don't know you, have number of different wall wart style power supplies lying around. of them 5v, 12v, , 20v dc supplies. laptops require 20 v supply. in past have managed plug wrong wart pi, frying it. so, projects, automatically include dc-dc converter in box. available pretty small (maybe same size pi, or little bigger) - , don't require changing bigger enclosure. come in different power capacities, , different voltage adjustments , monitoring means (some fixed voltage). 1 that's powerful enough cover pretty number of peripherals might later add box

i've got servo motor took off old printer , i've hit wall on figuring out 3 brown wires in picture do. i've got kind of optical rotation sensor on back, wire emitter, sensor(s)? i've tried measuring resistance of each of 3 wires black or white, each of other brown wires.... nothing. i tried manually spinning motor , having each of brown wires hooked analog inputs... still nothing. i'm hoping community can recommend how can figure out 3 brown wires do. i'll mention i'm pretty new things arduino , electrical stuff isn't forte, that's why i'm trying in first place.   that brushed d.c. motor optical shaft encoder. the encoder has 1 or more leds , phototransistors, take fair bit of knowledge semiconductor electronics figure out connections , how use them. unfortunately such circuits can rather destroyed applying power, if polarity wrong. if want use motor/encoder, better off buying 1 documentation.

the color sample tool seems work differently previous versions of ps. in previous versions, if had multiple color adjustment layers, did not matter adjustment layer had selected, still same rgb numbers. cs4, each time select different color adjustment layer can different numbers? know top adjustment layer read correct numbers, can little confusing if not paying attention doing. there anyway change this? i hadnt noticed that. i suppose has new adjustments-panel, im afraid 1 cannot change that. in modal dialog in cs3 readings incorporate layers selected adjustment layer, new non-modal dialog necessitates behaviour permanently, guess. you deselect adjustment layer command-clicking in layers-panel though. bonjour, tout d'abord merci à ceux qui prendront le temps de m'aider. alors je vous pose un peu le contexte: je dois réaliser un programme permettant de contrôler une machine de traction (petit lien si vous ne savez ce que c'est : machine de traction ). du coup je dois récupérer le signal d'un codeur optique 250 pts/tour (attaché au "cul" du moteur pour connaitre la position du moteur et ainsi celle de la traverse (grâce à un système ingénieux de vis à billes et de courroies !). la gamme de vitesse de mon moteur est de 8 à 4000 tr/min (même je ne dépasserai pas les 500 tr/min lors des mesures) ce qui entraîne un déplacement de la traverse de 1 à 500 mm/min. fin du contexte ennuyant. mon problème est que j'arrive très bien à visualiser le signal du capteur sur oscillo (signal créneau) mais dès que j'essaye d'incrémenter une variable sur arduino à chaque front montant j'ai l'impression (peut-être fausse) que la carte ne suit pas la

hello all, experiencing interesting "bug?" in ubuntu , xp systems via dualboot. able use bt in ubuntu, depended on luck factor whether brought or no. times, now, unable see bt adapter. today wanted use bt (mobile, applet responded "no adapter present" text. after trying different kernels (31-14,31-16, livecds karmic , lucid alpha 1), none of them managed bring bt. decided try fiddle bit bt in windows xp. i've installed bt driver, paired phone , restarted ubuntu. bt active. have say, able use bt yesterday via karmic\lucid(?) livecd without problems before installing bt drivers in xp. so, can explain me why "my" bt acts ridiculous piece of hardware ever? i've noticed following "dmesg |grep bluetooth" change: before installing drivers (not working bt): code: $ dmesg |grep lueto [ 0.272011] bluetooth: core ver 2.15 [ 0.272027] bluetooth: hci device , connection manager initialized [

buenas, desde hace un par de semanas me viene saliendo este error, descarto que sea mi arduino pues me pasa con un arduino mega prestado tambien, presionando en "get board info" obtengo la respuesta con la info de la tarjeta, los puertos y las tarjetas estan correctos en el ide, de aclarar que esto me comenzo suceder una vez actualice el ide la versión 1.6.10 decidi instalar una version mas antigua  la 1.6.4 y todo fluye normal. gracias te comento yo tengo un arduino mega 2560, y por ahi me gusta programer un attiny 85 y un atmega 328p con la version del ide 1.6.5 esta es la mas nueva queme lo permite usando el mega como programador isp, de ahi para abajo. las versiones ma recientes me dan problemas. i'm working way through tutorial book, , find suggested color changes make photos horrible! when loaded b&w photo, had definite yellow cast it. it's strong -- daugerrotype (please excuse spelling) i'm pretty sure have same cast in color photos -- when erase them white eraser, yellow. if sample erased white areas, 255 in rgb channels. if sample midtone in b&w photo, rgb values within 1 of each other. it's not monitor -- b&w's fine in bridge , in photoshop elements. yellow in photoshop cs4 i've fooled extensively edit/color settings/ stuff no avail. can't make yellow go away. any ideas why it's there in first place, , in ps cs4? thanks corrupt monitor profile. recalibrate. also, try resetting photoshop preferences first. correct spelling: daguerreotype (hint: firefox has spell checker.) hola gente, les cuento,estoy trabajando en un proyecto de activación inalambrica de alarmas. el funcionamiento lo base en arduino 1 mas modulos xbee s2c,el problema radica en que necesito que el coordinador envíe por su puerto serial mensajes todas las alarmas para una activación simultanea, mientras sigue recibiendo los mensajes de cualquier botonera. alguna recomendación? nota:hasta el momento estoy leyendo de manera directa el puerto serial y en base eso ocurre la activación de la alarma,pero se me colapsa la comunicación cuando trato de escribir sobre el mismo puerto sin tu código no podemos sugerirte nada. se colapse que, cómo?  lee las normas del foro, postea el código usando tags y luego explica como es que ocurre el problema. sometimes after installing ubuntu 9.10 or derivates i'm getting system in neither gdm nor kdm cannot started, gksudo not working, drive automounter not working... system starts graphic console, there's black screen, mouse cursor missing. if i'm running apps 'display=0:0', working on console. reinstallation of either of window managers doesn;t help. hi, i have tiff file on os 10.4.11 desktop. open cs3 bridge , select file ( tif scan generated in silverfast ai studio) right click file , drop-down menu shows me cs3 "open with" choice not see acr choice. choose cs3 , opens in cs3. have tiff , jpeg files default acr when choose jpg , cs3 opens in acr... why not tiff? scanned bit depth of 48 acr can not interpret it? how can add acr choice in "open with" when right click image file on mac desktop see acr choice? >could scanned bit depth of 48 acr can not interpret it? that shouldn't make difference. however, have run strange anomaly nikonscan (which haven't noticed in ai) in if scan batch of files tiff, open in acr; if scan single image, won't open in acr. my work-round duplicate errant files in bridge. duplicates open flawlessly in acr , can trash original scans.
