my usb ports aren't working on pi2 (get 'over-current change error', , trying zipped app onto pi2 (kodi, libreelec). whats best way of doing pls? can connect pi via putty. there way of connecting pi laptop (windows) see 'normal' kodi screen/menus etc? you download on windows , transfer pi. use filezilla, winscp or other sftp client if it's non kodi app / script log in ssh , install it. if it's kodi script can install kodi menus (iirc it's called install zip) btw: usb error when no devices attached? in experience happens devices not pi compatible. try removing devices , plug them in 1 one. raspberrypi

hola, hace tiempo que tengo en la cabeza: 1-crear un timbre para la casa con raspberry, con el que pueda configurar cualquier archivo mp3 para que suene al tocarlo. 2-también, ya que me pongo, que mande el mensaje al correo con foto de la persona que toca el timbre por si no estoy en casa. el caso es que de esta segunda parte sí existe bastante información en internet, pero en el primer punto necesito ayuda para poder realizar las conexiones y ver que material necesito. mi idea es sustituir el timbre normal de la casa, conectar el pulsador la raspberry y ,como cerca de la puerta tengo una caja de conexiones de electricidad, conectar la fuente de alimentación de la raspberry ahí directamente. lógicamente necesito un altavoz bluetooth, pero ¿qué más necesito? ¿cómo conecto los cables del pulsador la placa? encontrado un post de hace tiempo http://petazetabytes.blogspot.com.es/20 ... rbell.html da pistas pero que no me aclara todas las dudas la hora de crear el proyecto. os

hello, i'm running on raspberry pi 3 b model , think i've set extent can connect through pi via putty , vnc through router/internet connection. enabled ssh terminal window command " sudo raspi-config". after that, tried connecting pi laptop via ethernet directly i've come across issue of "network error: connection refused". i'm not sure on issue is, lot of points found led me adding ssh file in case didn't enable properlyhowever can't seem connect putty either. sd img i'm using version 4.9 raspbian stretch desktop. appreciated. thanks if using direct connection between pi , laptop, must have dhcp server on 1 of devices, or assign static ips devices. have done that? can assign static ip on rpi, install , set dnsmasq provide network settings laptop. raspberrypi

buenos días, explico el proyecto en el que estoy trabajando, tengo 5 sistemas, de los cuales tengo que monitorear ciertas señales (analógicas y digitales) y enviar la información por ethernet una igu, la pregunta es que sería mejor utilizar para hacer la lectura de las señales (como dato son 30 o 40 señales aunque se tiene contemplado hasta 125), sería mejor multiplexar las señales y enviarlas un solo arduino por 5 entradas analógicas y las digitales igual pero pin digital o conectar 5 arduinos como esclavo y que lean las señales de cada sistema y luego poner uno como maestro que lea los datos de los 5 subordinados (todo esto por cable ethernet), los tiempos de actualización de datos son el critico de 1.5 segundos y el máximo de 4 segundos. si tienen alguna otra opinión será bien recibida, muchas gracias. algo como lo que estoy haciendo en este momento.  un raspberry pi como master y nodos usando nrf24l01 con un nano en cada nodo que quiera medir, prender

hey everyone, i'm trying compile simple code on rpi3 using geany. code written using code::blocks on windows , working without problem. errors i'm getting are: untitled.c:33:5: error: ‘for’ loop initial declarations allowed in c99 or c11 mode , untitled.c:33:5: note: use option -std=c99, -std=gnu99, -std=c11 or -std=gnu11 compile code understand code not problem way i'm compiling it. can give me advice? you need add 1 of suggested options compile command configured in geany, in menu.. build -> set build commands add "-std=c99" after "gcc" in compile , build boxes. i wanted create reset in code after event occurs, because untraceable reason, when event occurs (radio transmission) system hangs up.  have 2 spi gadgets on board, , although both work, radio hangs up.  timing or interrupt problem. so decided apply watchdog timer trigger after radio tx, allowing 15 ms. before resetting.  activated after point in code tx called.  not in main loop, assumed trigger once, each time called transmission.  boy wrong! so have timer resetting nano every 15 ms., , program upload kaput.  have bricked nano, or there way foil wdt , new code chip? thanks in advance assistance. press & hold reset during download, when ide shows "compiled xxx of 32xxx bytes" release it. file:preferences, enable verbose outputs, can make timing easier see when release button.
