PNGs showing up as black??????? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've been able rename images in css change backgrounds , banners. trying change menu button colors in solar flare2 took original grey/rust image , made several variations ps's hue control... resaved them .png.... , uploaded them.

in windows explorer can see color variations when direct access image in ie shows black... , that's way appear on website.

is window's issue or joomla issue?
