new computer - strange PS CS4 behavior

hello,

i purchased new system (win xp pro downgrade, sp3, intel i7 processor) , ps acting odd. i've uninstalled , reinstalled, , behavior remains.

whenever open ps, menus grayed out, including file menu allows me open file. in order open file, must minimize ps, re-maximize it. @ point, menus become active.

similar issue anytime wish apply layer effect, must alt-tab program, switch in order see effect. same goes navigator window in ps: if zoom in or out on image, navigator window not show change. in other words, red box should move across thumbnail in navigator window not move, though image on desktop change size zoom in , out. and, related this, navigator window grayed out, additional layer may create above background layer.

now, program ran on other computer, xp pro, though not downgrade , running on different processor. processor issue? mentioned, i've tried uninstall/reinstall. has else seen before or have ideas try?

by "downgrade" mean downgraded vista when bought it?

Using phone battery to power a plane.

hello, i'm trying mount arduino on falcon rc plane fly using cellphone (via bluetooth), problem haven't got original battery i'm trying find light-weight 1 use it. i've tested mc power lab 3003 , works @ maximum speed 5.0v , 3.11a. the plane has 2 dc motors, no flaps, no slats. turn speeds 1 of them depending on side go to. my actual question if can use nokia lumia 605 battery power motors. have tested half-charged 1 of motors, worked (the 4 seconds tested it). will burn, explode, heat or suitable? its characteristics are: nokia bl-5h 1839mah 3.7v 6.8wh li-ion and question, use arduino motor shield (designed 2dc motors, 2 servos , 1 stepper) handle plane's motors? thanks in advance. you need ask question on model airplane forum. it usual model airplanes draw huge current batteries keep down battery weight. if at, example, hobby king website see lipo batteries have c rating - such 15c or 20c. means can safely deliver current equal 15 (o...
