Thread: Alsa mutes after suspend.

i've had lot of sound problems machine, inspiron 1420, , recent.


recent upgrade 9.10, sound works after fresh boot. if put suspend, sound stops working. may possible somewhere getting muted, not of obvious places.

edit1:

ok, feel dumb. went alsamixer in terminal, , muted there.

way stop doing don't have fix every time?

edit2:

ok, never mind. did work 1 time. i've suspended again, , alsa resumed @ 100% volume, no sound. confused.

missing filename after '-o'
