dear ubuntu people,

external hard drive case: icy box 1b-362 series
hard disk model: st31000333as
ubuntu version: 9.10
motherboard model: asus p5q3

problem description: when plug drive esata interface of motherboard, ubuntu not recognize drive new plug , play device. recognized if drive plugged during booting, regular internal drive. how can make ubuntu see external drive plug , play device?
