Photoshop CS3 actions won't save

i'm learning create actions in ps.

unfortunately, when i've created action on desktop computer, action lasts session , not there when restart ps. i've done several times, , result same. actions remain session , work fine, disappear after restart.

this doesn't happen on backup copy on laptop, ps work on desktop , it's problem.

your preferences locked somehow. permissions problem on preferences directory.

missing filename after '-o'
