Thread: Recover after destroying the /home partition

hi

in attempt solve lacking space problem, foolishly formatted used /home partition of ubuntu , merged windows partition.

naturally ubuntu can't load after log in. can somehow relocate "home" directory on ubuntu's system drive. please tell me how.

thank

your /etc/fstab still looking mount /home partition not exist. think if delete incorrect fstab line, automatically create new default /home in root. can deal moving home or linking data home.
