Thread: How do I set sound preferences?

i have upgraded karmic , find preferences->sound opens volume control rather "sound preferences" jaunty used have. sound preferences used let me select between oss/alsa/pulseaudio etc , select/test sounds various events (login, email, alerts etc). has function been hidden now?

right click little speaker icon in panel.

missing filename after '-o'
