configuration chmod on widows xp? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i running following:

win xp pro
apache
php
mysql
filezilla ftp server

all on localhost:8080

and cannot darned configuration.php chmod'ed

i keep getting
"an error has occurred! unable open configuration.php file write!"

can tell me how chmod in windows?

many in advance!

in windows explorer, find configuration.php file, highlight , right click on mouse.  ths should bring window see item "properties" near bottom of list. left click on properties , window appear see "attributes" check boxes. if read-only box checked , clear , click on ok.
