i new linux, have removed windows machine , installed ubuntu 9.10 every thing went fine when installed , able install packages.

when shutdown machine , restart later shows me ubuntu icon on screen , screen goes blank , no drums sound also.

used restart machine , keep on pressing "ctrl + d" able normal screen.

please issue getting solved.

missing filename after '-o'
