Real vs false resolution

it possible determine image original resolution before resampling applied?

it kind of metafile info checked?
(or standard relationship between size in pixels , reso afford information?)

only if person created file chose include history in metadata. highly unlikely in case of re-sampled file may want pass off original.

trained eye can tell looking @ image.

Need simple timer/stopwatch sketch
