Help with 3D Capabilities

hello,

i have cs4 suite , take text , raster images, extrude give depth , able work them in photoshop eventual use in video production.

i realize photoshop can not extrude, looking on how can this.

illustrator has live trace , 3d extrude, read 1 can not export 3d image illustrator.

so, there easy, affordable way start raster images , turn them 3d images depth?

like corporate logo or design artwork.
