Photoshop CS3 doesnt open more than one photo

i have win xp + adobe cs 3 standard installed on pc: when open more 1 photo @ same time photoshop cs3, application close.
i have 2 pc same configuration , have same problem. note have adobe cs2 installed + upgrade adobe cs 3. if use photoshop cs 2 dont have trouble. thanks,
