Registation Email help / pathway.php - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i've been having problem past week or so.  running joomla on site community builder.  have not hacked or anything. 

the trouble have send registration emails out, wont.  when ever new user application processed , doesn't send out registration emails, saves user database, that's it.  email confirmation never completed. 

the reason why think has either joomla or host because when happens, joomla wont send out emails through private messaging section, either.  because it's intermittant, i'm thinking it's server issue, of course, when asked them it, said nothing wrong -- had application.  pinpoint issue is, if server, atleast contact them it.

i'm not sure if it's related, 1 of users took screenshot of error can't reproduce myself after happened, says "the first argument should array in pathway.php on line 63":

missing filename after '-o'
