Need video card advice

i have dell dimension 4600i stock intel(r) 82865g graphics controller, , 4 gig of ram. use photoshop cs3 digital scrapbook business, working image files gig. besides tweeking ps , xp fastest performance i'm thinking need beefier video card. i've read decent reviews geforce 7600gt , other video cards these aimed @ gamers. sales rep @ dell seemed think top video card wouldn't better photoshop work.

are there video cards out there speed ps? waste of money getting card designed gamers?

photoshop not video intensive program, compared games. large
images bottleneck memory. throw memory @ problem.
if version of windows supports it, use /3gb switch in
boot.ini (documentation @ microsoft.com). so, 1 gig image
pushing it. longer term, move cs4 , 64 bit processor , os.
