Thread: Ubun tu 9.10 64Bit + Wine + WoW => low FPS

ik know there several posting on forum subject think problem of diffirent nature.

have following machine:

- asus m4n78-se
- amd phenom ii 2,66mhz quadcore
- 4gb ddr2 800mhz ram
- club 3d radeon 4670 1gb pci-e 16x

can handle world of warcraft comfortably @ 60fps in big city ogrimmar lots of other players present

wish run machine in ubuntu , away horrible windows xp not mention windows vista or windows 7.

instaled newest wine , added mozilla control package.
changed registery , added "opengl" key suggested in howto's on net , changed config.wtf file aswell.

installed "applytoforhead" package listed.

still have fps performance wich cry about.
put graphics low , disabled vertical sync, disabled graphical tickboxes @ bottom.

still 50 55 fps in goldshire , 31fps in stormwind hardly there.
of authors these howto's claim can put graphics max , still have fps nothing more 8900gt or older card.

why doesn't card perform better ? way more powerfull 8900gt.... !
alos laptop hd3200 mobile has rufly same fps desktop has, eventhough loads , loads slower.

doing wrong here ? or ati not supported in in ubuntu ?
