Thread: how to make default folder

i want change default folder desktop other new folder. want download , save automatically other new folder instead of desktop. how can change ? computer automatically save files desktop when download internet. want download automatically other folder designated instead of desktop. how can ?

we're talking firefox (the default browser delivered ubuntu) then.

in firefox:
edit > preferences > [main] - download, save files to: [choose folder] > ok.




other browser procedure may different.

missing filename after '-o'
