Measuring Voltage on a Positive Ground System

i have solar setup positive common ground. use nano measure voltage panels , batteries... problem nano powered system. since nano uses negative ground reference, can't figure way use single uc read both voltages. can 1 side or other using simple voltage divider, because negative rails @ different potentials, believe reading side opposite of nano supply not accurate.

any ideas?

no don't. have common positive system. ground has nothing , reference of measuring. , think define voltages positive ground not there ;)

one thing connect arduino side highest voltage. via resistor divider can measure voltage there (let's call v1). , connect negative of other side (which not arduino gnd) arduino analog (probably via voltage divider well), let's call v2.

the voltage on other side v1 - v2.

if can't connect arduino highest voltage things become bit more complicated because point of view arduino negative of other side negative voltage , can't directly measure it.
