Birdseye view blurry

when i`m zoomed in picture , birdseye-view (by pressing "h"-key , holding down mouse button)to zoom out, image (or parts of image) gets extremely blurry. starts happen pictures bigger 18000x12000 pixels , if have more layers happens smaller pics well.
what`s annoying following fact:
lets assume i`m zoomed in , retouching. when birds-eye view , zoom out, see unretouched picture! updates move rectangle of birds-eye view around. sometimes!
so if i`m retouching dust spots in zoomed-in view , want see wether forgot other spots, birds-eye view useless, because see spots retouched. happens small pictures. watched bert monroy`s new show @ http://revision3.com/pixelperfect/
where john nack demonstrated birds-eye view picture of 29000px width , not blurry @ in birds-eye mode.
i`m on vista32 geforce 8600gt 512mb of videoram , 4gb ram.
of course got latest drivers.

i'm not seeing blurriness, intermittently non-update of cached preview blocks when zooming out describe.

i see anti-aliasing when zooming out, has been referred before 'horrible blurriness' on list :-)

nvidia 8800 gtx, latest drivers, vista ultimate 32bit
