Thread: Brand New to Linux! Need Wireless Help!!!


please forgive me if post should in new user section...

have aspire d250 netbook broadcom bcm4312 ver 1 wireless card. have downloaded , installed ubuntu 9.10 downloaded driver package , read me txt file broadcom. have tried using 1 solution on forum followed directions in read me txt file , still unable wireless running. there , way directions little more understandable guy has little no experience using terminal? new linux whole have been looking 'installable' solution without using terminal , not able find one. have searched forum , seem more lost anything...please help!

open terminal , run following command. make sure you've got wired connection able download driver.
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter
