got hands on old portable dvd player. love turn portable netflix player daughter. it's pink, know she'll love it.

i'm stuck few things. driver board lcd has no chips on it, must done main processor of player.
i'm happy cut , reconnect yellow wires while testing them av signal. i'll going.

i'm trying work out is, controls player work via 2 wires. now, i'm far electronics expert, can see has different resistors on each button. i'm wondering is, mean player sends voltage through, , measures resistor signal on other side, , more so, can have pi 0 detect button has been pushed.

dvd player uses 3.7v battery, that's used run pi.

possible, or dreaming here?

the raspberry pi 0 never run netflix. pi3 has better chance , it still difficult.

sure player hasn't got composite video input ?

Using phone battery to power a plane.
