Completely remove all traces of Photoshop CS3 Extended

i have installed photoshop cs3 extended there problem serial number on box. adobe have issued me new serial number use. uninstalled when reinstalled it, original serial number still there. how remove traces of photoshop cs3 extended computer can reinstall new serial number? full retail version used on windows xp system. many thanks.
