Need help on which board to buy

hey guys. i'm new here , i'm in need of on rather small project want undertake.

i'm looking buy 0 board , 10 pins hook hitbox arcade fight stick perform asynchronous left right movements eliminating neutral input programed pcb board.

the arduino board making inputs override commands make left + right = left. arduino board board make perform on last command only. left + right = right on last command.

so question would 0 overkill such simple task or regular board enough.

also if has attempted before advice or direction appreciated. :)

imo smallest arduino sufficient. development uno or mega choice, final products pro mini cheaper , smaller.

missing filename after '-o'
