does setting profiles under colour settings alter end image when printed on printing press or how colours viewed on screen?

if change profile embedded 1 want make difference way colours print (from way printed previous profile)?

if image has press profile embedded in it, typically 1 used display image, regardless of color settings set to. changing color settings nothing unless doing blind mode change rgb cmyk, in case, want make sure correct profile indeed loaded.

it depends on whether convert new profile or assign it. you're not stating in question how you're arriving @ new profile. if assigning new profile, depend on how different old one, how difference there be. if converting, there should little difference.
