Thread: Problem with install Ubuntu 9.10 on dual boot.


want install ubuntu 9.10 want use seperate partition when partition manager comes partition file

fat 16, fat32 ext2 file system, ntfs etc. not know file system partion as.

want use side side install method because once partion made undoable..

tried install in windows got error message after install done. not sure if because using win xp 32 bit , trying install ubuntu 64 bit or because have
virtual box , ubuntu 32 bit on c: drive.

prefer seperated partitions anyway. file system ubuntu partioned as?

you should use ext3, or ext4 root partion ubuntu.
