Thread: QTPARTED won't run

newbie ubuntu going well. need alter/add new partitions hdd , have downloaded qtparted tool it. however, not run. response child! thus:

applications > systemtools > qtparted > enter

failed execute child process "qtparted-root" (no such file or directory)

tried re-installation & selected few recommended files same response.

@ loss now. point way please.

please sure tell me if not right way go getting such information. feel quite excluded assumptions.

missing filename after '-o'
