1.0.13 shows as 1.0.12 version in administrator - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, i'm sorry in advance if covered in else's listings, couldn't find through searching forum.  after moaning , gnashing of teeth i've gotten site updated 1.0.13.  i've verified in fact has been updated going phpadmin , verifying new password format being used.  however, in administrator it's still showing 1.0.12 @ footer.  thoughts why is?  did missed, or have done something?  appreciated it's hard convince clients i've done work i've done when site contradicts me.

1. purge cache of browser or else re-upload core joomla files;

2. why don't give try diagnosing joomla using jts , hisa? done checking integrity of files + general compatibility issues. check this post

missing filename after '-o'
