Cannot Drag 'n Drop in Photoshop CS3 on Mac

very frustrating.

i cannot drag 'n drop image file bridge cs3 or mac's finder onto photoshop cs3 canvas. in older versions, i've been able drag/drop images, perplexed on how solve this. i've read having "adobe unit types" in scriptingadditions folder of library. have file there called, "adobe unit types.osax", not sure answer.

any advise helpful.

my setup:

macbook pro
osx 10.5.6
2gb
adobe cs3 extended suite (photoshop 10.0.1)

i not sure if feature, since worked on other versions. has ever worked current setup? if has, suggest resetting prefs.

if hasn't, might want import using smart object feature. also, believe when in bridge, can right-click on image , send ps.

missing filename after '-o'
