BLE terminal with RedBear BLE shield

i connect redbear ble shieldto arduino uno , load simplechar program. try communicate via terminal board receive , send text.
i load blue arduino app on google play.
i active boards.
i first use ble scenner , found ble name give , manage connect to.then disconnect it.
but when active blue arduino , push scen button didn't see device @ all.
1. waht reason?
2. there better app when can connect redbead shield , active monitor?
