could you summarize IDE development?
[after being moved general subforum, post redundant. sorry that!]
hi, referred sub-forum marco_c, though don't alternative ide development yet.
this beginner-level set of questions.
could summarize me current state of ide's in use. for example, say: "80% of people use normal arduino ide, but.. " , rest of summary.
the above guess. what main benefits other ide's - there 1 particularly favored community?
secondly:
i'm interested in compilers, summarize ones have support on arduinos. (gcc, klang, etc.) which ones in use?
thanks of thoughts , sorry if i'm bit haz [edit: hazy] in understanding still.
i'd write learn on forum, read not people using arduino people coming embedded linux development never have. i appreciate summary , information.
