cannot save file

because file open or used application (not exact wording). happens when i'm saving image after editing in ps. happened in cs2 , in cs3, on 2 of 3 workstations (os-tiger), happens during batch operation. when relaunch finder solves problem, don't know if it's photoshop problem of memory problem. hasn't happened yet on workstation 4gb of ram (os-leopard).

any 1 else have happen?

occasionally. me it's when same document open in preview (which happened accident if double-click open, , reason preview thought should open file) , when image imported open quark document. closing offending file fixes it. i've had happen randomly when couldn't figure out why thought file open anywhere.
