Canvas artifact preview problem, CS3

ok, here's problem!
when open up, let's picture of cat, of ordinary size (10x 10cm) , above in photoshop cs3, strange squarelike artifacts disappears momentarely when move cursor on it. i've added link picture illustrate problem. can't figure out when these artifacts occur i'm able save image in, let's .jpg, , jpg records box-artifacts final version (se link). strange results while zooming in , out on canvas causing image change box-artifacts diffrent patterns.

iv'e tried update drivers reagarding every graphical components in computer nothing seems work. i've played various settings in pshop nothing changes. please me!

photoshop cs3
amd 64 x2core
3.0ghz, 2gb ram
win xp servicepack 3
ati radeon hd 2900 pro
directx 10

directx 10 on win xp?

any ports of directx 10 xp not officially sanctioned microsoft.

missing filename after '-o'
