CS4 PSE - Can you unwrap the UV map of a 3D shpere?


i want start regular 2d layer...

wrap 3d sphere , clone out seam , correct of poles of sphere.

can unwrap 3d sphere rectangular 2d image in cs4 photoshop extended? if not in ps can export 3d file , unwrap in blender?????

help please have asked on 4 different forums no avail!!!

i not sure mean.
do want corrected image back? possible. have click (double) on desired texture ( in layers ) when ready. new window texturename.psb opens. save , done.
if want use image in 3d environment should apply uv coordinates in 3d environment, import 3d file , texture tweaks ( way great remove seams ;); save regulary. crashes ). because ps has basic unwrapper without options or modifications choose.
it unlikely ps uv's match uv's within 3d application.
if need export 3d layer can ( 3d -> export 3dlayer ) limited file formats dae, kms, u3d , obj ). never tried not know how is.
