Google Maps Component / Allow anyone to add location - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello,

i downloaded , installed google maps component, , it.

however, requires logged in via joomla before regular web site user can add location. application, want people able add location on map, not ask them log in. (i don't use log-in functionality on particular site.) would, of course, make use of "require approval" feature of component.

does know of way modify component doesn't check see if logged in? asked author , indicated wasn't aware coded this, , purely accident did so.

i know bumps taboo, i'm looking fix here.

how joomla component check see if logged in or not? if disable check, allow non-logged in members add own point on map.

even hint of appreciated.
