Power wheelchair 4x 24volt actuator control with touch screen - Raspberry Pi Forums

hi there, looking in final stages of wheelchair build, , getting close seat controls etc.,

thinking of using raspberry pi main guts, need control @ least 4 24volt actuators, , able have touch screen rather buttons or switches, able slide through pages of functions, main screen showing (at present) 4 actuators main controls, being down of seat down of leg rests, tilt in space, , recline.

may want add other things curb climber (again via actuator) , other functions, slide next page , have load of pre-set positions, if press button 1 moves 3 separate actuators @ different speeds form current positions @ press of button raised standing position, mean reclines foot rest lowers , seat base tilted forward, , in reverse if press button two, or press button 3 lie down sleep position, or home mode need put actuators down, , on.

have screen displays current speed, maybe gps function, , or media player (no not lazy spend loads of time in chair) have 3d printer can build custom waterproof housing, not know if raspberry pi job , if how hard be, have never programmed before , pain hinders learning affects concentration much.

ok things relay switches, rather need power actuators think need use relays , use raspberry pi switch them, actuators being used motor driven, assume sort of servo control way go, new on forum, not know if ask if there pay programming of it. way advice good.
