transforming 2D photos to 3D and flying through

hi - i've been on fcp 7 years now. using both photoshop , fcp create photo/video montages. i'm noticing new techniques making 2d pictures 3d , flying through photo. can tell, i'm going need either after effects or motion accomplish this.

my question - have fcp/photoshop solution scenario above before go out , purchase either motion or after effects. need step step.
