convert a film negative to a positive file

hello all,

i photographing 2 1/4 negatives canon 50d , macro lens. in photoshop cs3 looking filter convert negative film file positive file can work on adobe , print in on canon printer.. have tried sample orange base color , take out , invert , increased contrast curve. can not right... there way adobe or there plug in this. or there program on line this?
