Thread: 9.10 acts slow compared to 9.04

i installed ubuntu netbook remix 9.10 (downloaded last weekend) on kind of computer:

asus eee pc 1101ha 11.6" led / atom z520 / 1gb / 160gb / 1024x768.

works , display looks , that. there 2 disappointing matters. mean disappointing compared nbr 9.04 on own, bit older, 9" asus mini-laptop atom processor , 16 mb flash disk , 1gb ram, 1024x600.

1.
videos slow. mpeg2 , xvid/divx -videos slow. slow run in fullscreen. not have such problem on 9" asus. of course resolutions different, not much. , videos run in small window problem - not react well, when try resize view.

2.
moving maximized window desktop, takes long time. diminish view seconds , there - after 10 seconds or so. again older asus, nbr 9.04 happened in predictable time , moving full desktop fast (almost immediate).

so, should wait corrections 9.10 (which might me version 10.04?) or move 9.04, mini laptop desktop in opinion? sorry blunt, 9.10 nbr not seem - first - good, or perhaps these problems elsewhere?

obviously, latest gadgets, functionality , support, on latest version, on new computer.

there might other explanations well. have not compared these atom processors - latest one, giving 9.5 hours of battery time, slower?

my girlfriends msi wind fubar in 9.10. remember reading 10.04 fix date netbook. on 9.04 until then.

hi, after updating arduino 1.6.10 when compiling same code obtain error code: [select] settime' not declared in scope how can fix it? quote how can fix it? don't call functions aren't defined. post code (all of it) , exact error message(s). Valutazione Template - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

salve, prima di installare joomla, vorrei porvi tre semplici domande: 1) l'ultima versione in italiano di joomla, supporta questo template prodotto da gavik? loro scrivono che non è un semplice template, ma una vera e propria suite, ma vorrei una vostra opinione. qui sono descritte le funzioni della suite. 2) per sfruttare gli elementi che si vedono nella pagina, ad esempio quello in alto sinistra dove scorrono le notizie, occorre installare qualche componente aggiuntivo? 3) futuri upgrade alla piattaforma joomla, potranno inficiare il funzionamento o la compatibilità del template? vi ringrazio anticipatamente della disponibilità. 1) non vedo nulla di particolare se non una miriade di posizioni per blocchi 2) è un modulo se non sbaglio pagamento, ma adesso non ricordo bene 3) no. ti ricordo che devi installare joomla  1.0.12 Board index Joomla!
