Thread: restarting from windows into ubuntu always detects unclean shutdown

hi,

when boot windows , reboot , go linux, says shutdown unclean , checks drives.

have linux /home partition mapped in windows , accessing there.

i assume windows issue , not linux. anyway, should run
fsutil dirty query <drive>
chkntfs /x <drive>
chkdsk /f /r <drive>

hope helps. if not, better search forums windows.
