CS3 to CS4 P S upgrade printer/paper icc files not working - Help!

have upgraded ps cs4 , upgraded mac ppc intel (10.5.6) on new macpro. , using epson 2400 printer. rescued 3 important icc profiles , managed load them onto new machine. when go print image paper icc profile visible , in printer menu 3 presets visible. allow ps manage colors , disable color management. printed image rubbish , seems icc profile & preset have been ignored. able print 1 image on old ppc gave on me - perfect.
i have got produce approx 50 images april 6th degree course - desperation setting in!
any advice out there should looking problem area.
