Problem with Stills

coming premiere 6.5, have bunch of jpgs saved @ 720x530. when import them cs3 "squished" (yes, i'm not pro) , subjects fat. revised few 720x480, , appear in source window fine, in reference window , monitor, output export, reason zoomed , therefore entire subject not appear.
i'm sure it's simple issue, appreciated.

it issue pixel aspect ratio feel sure although don't use premiere. @ menu image > pixel aspect ratio , change 1 works import.
