Intranet issue - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hey!

i have been working joomla on year now, & installing on intranet 1st time.. kindly assist me

=> have installed joomla on windows xp using xampp
proxy ip : 172.16.1.14
computer name : campusvani

when try access site other computers on lan have use http://campusnet/joomla
(for reason http://172.16.1.14/joomla doesnt work me)
now, page loads on remote host doesnt carry images.. (as if css file missing)

i understand other threads problem solved editing config $mosconfig_live_site = '172.16.1.14';

but didnt work me  :(
additional info (that might / might not uselful) - main server i.e 172.16.1.1 has iis running on it

what doing wrong??

this domain name resolving issue. can ping 172.16.1.14 computer on lan? ip address camputnet resolve to?

the live_site setting needs able resolved computer accessing site (ip address of domain name).

missing filename after '-o'
