CS2 Activation Error

hello everyone,

i bought used copy of cs2. came in retail box , cd still had seal on it. looked legit (not means anything, guess), when try install message activation error encountered.

is error sign may have gotten bogus software? there way can verify if have legit copy or not?

yes. seller must fill out license transfer form , file
adobe. if didn't happen have no recourse except go after
seller.
